Face value determines the points accumulated on the cards, every numbered card has a face value. The value of an ace is 11 points or 1 point. You can choose either 11 points or 1 point by merging the points from the cards already in your hand. For instance if you have a six face card and turn over an ace then you can utilize your ace as 11 points to come to a count of 17. The main aim is not to cross the limit of 21.
Many times players believe that they should defeat other players by obtaining cards close to 21 or exactly 21. However, the blackjack secret is that the players need to defeat the dealer instead of bothering about other players.
